Pauline A. Prevo

            Pauline A. Prevo, 72, of Alpena, MI, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020, at Mid- Michigan Medical Center of Alpena surrounded by her family.

            She was born on June 12, 1948 in Bay City, MI to the late Cora VanWormer. Pauline married Myrl Prevo on August 28, 1965 at St. Rose Church in Herron, MI. She was a member of the All Saints Parish Church. Pauline's lifelong commitment to her community is represented by her service with the Hospital Auxiliary, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, and Zonta Woman's Club which founded the K-9 Unit and Firehouse Kids. She was instrumental in building the first women's habitat house. Pauline enjoyed volunteering, crocheting and sewing for her grandchildren, and numerous organizations.

            Pauline is survived by her loving husband Myrl of 55 years. Two children Michael (Brenda) Prevo of Alpena, MI; Christine (Tim) Prevo Hunnicutt of Delton, MI and five grandchildren, Nick Hunnicutt, Jon Prevo, Tyler, Bret, Zach Auger.

            Public Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Private family services will be held at a later date.
