Joan Arlene Wojciechowski

Joan Arlene Wojciechowski, 81, of Alpena, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. She was a loving and caring wife, sister, and friend whom will be dearly missed. Joan was born on April 17, 1942 to the late George and Arlene (Donnan) Moore in Alpena. After High school, Joan went on to work for many years at Giant way as a cashier. Later she worked for Walmart for many years until her retirement. On June 3, 2006 she married Robert Wojciechowski at St. John Catholic Church of All Saints Parish. Joan was a devout catholic and felt strongly about her faith. She taught Catechism for many years at St. John’s.
There were many things that Joan enjoyed in her life such as, gardening (especially the end product), occasional trips to the casino, and loved country music. She thoroughly enjoyed her trip to Nashville and the Grand Ole Opry. Joan also loved spending time with her family and her peaceful spot on the river. 
Joan is survived by her loving husband, Robert, a son, Robert Jr. (Sandra) of Almont, MI., four grandchildren, Bethany (Edwin) Schnur, Cosette, Logan, and Samantha Wojciechowski, a brother, Randall Moore, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Lancewicz, and sister-in-law Gloria Moore. 
Family will receive friends for visitation at Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Monday, July 31, 2023 at St. Casimir Catholic Church from 10:00 A.M. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. with Fr. Charles Donajkowski as Celebrant.
