James Thomas Hollenback

James Thomas Hollenback, passed away on October 24, 2026, at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena. He was 68. Born on January 15, 1958, in Alpena, Michigan, Jim remained connected to the community that was part of his life from the beginning. He was a kind, considerate, and caring man who will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

Jim is survived by his brother, John Hollenback and Jody Carpenter; his step-sister, Tammy Werth and her husband, Greg; and his step-mother, Judith Hollenback. He also leaves behind the memory of the quiet care and kindness that touched the lives of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Hollenback; his mother, Lila Hollenback; his sister, Janet Johnston; and his brother, Don Hollenback. Their memories remained an enduring part of his life, and he is now reunited with those who went before him.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Monday, November 2, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at A.E. Ross Funeral Home, 516 W Chisholm St, Alpena, Michigan. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Deacon Michael Roy as celebrandt.. Inurnment will take place afterward at Holy Cross Cemetery,
