Emmett G. Nelson

            Emmett G. Nelson, age 86, of Spruce, Michigan passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020, at the Mid-Michigan Medical Center of Alpena.

            He is survived by his loving wife Evelyn and their two children: Samuel L. Nelson of Spruce, MI and Sarah E. (Steven) Simkins of Midland, MI; four grand-children: Joseph Nelson, Alisha Howard, Cory Simpkins, and Kelsey (Daniel) Porath; two great-grandchildren: Genesis and Jazaniah Howard; one sister Louise Jansen of Linden, MI, step-sister: Phyllis Henry of Fenton, MI; half-brother: Lorance Nelson of Sanford, MI.

            Per his wishes he has been taken from the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for cremation. A private family Committal Service will be held at a later date at the Thetford Township Cemetery in Clio, Michigan.
