Eileen F. Kowalski (Stickle) touched the lives of all who knew her with her deep kindness, enduring care, and unwavering love. Born on December 28, 1967, in Fairbanks, Alaska, Eileen grew up surrounded by the beauty and resilience of the Alaskan landscape—a spirit that she carried with her throughout her remarkable life.
From an early age, Eileen radiated warmth, offering a shoulder to lean on and a smile that could brighten even the most ordinary days. Her journey through life was marked by both perseverance and curiosity, as she explored many avenues in her career. Eileen embraced hard work wholeheartedly, whether she was tending bar at various establishments or dedicating herself for years at the local laundry mat. Through every role she took on, Eileen’s true calling was always evident: to bring comfort, camaraderie, and joy to those around her.
As a mother, Eileen poured her heart and soul into raising her three sons—Jeremiah Killian, Gaige Kowalski, and the late Caliber Kowalski. The lessons she shared and the love she gave continue to echo in the lives of her children. Eileen’s commitment to family extended beyond her own children, as she was also a beloved sister to Rick Stickle, Julie Stickle, and David Stickle. Her presence was a source of strength and unity, and she held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews.
Eileen’s life was not without sorrow. She carried the memories of her son Caliber, her siblings, Joe, Arlene, and Clint, and her parents, Richard and Phyllis Stickle. Through the grief and the challenges, she continued to lead with compassion and resilience, honoring those she missed by living a life guided by love.
Though Eileen’s journey came to a close on August 8, 2026, her spirit remains interwoven with the lives of her surviving family—her sons, Jeremiah (Jessica) and Gaige; her grandchildren, Lily and Adealin; her siblings, Rick, Julie, and David; and her many nieces and nephews. They will continue to honor her legacy in every shared memory, every act of kindness, and every moment of togetherness.
Eileen was a kind, caring, and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed. As her loved ones gather to remember her, they do so with full hearts—grateful for the time they shared, forever changed by her love, and determined to carry her memory forward, always.
