Dennis A Yorke

Dennis A. Yorke age 73, of Alpena, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016 peacefully at Mid-Michigan Medical Center of Alpena.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Bernadine. His two children Michael (Tammy) Yorke of Harbor Springs, Sherrie Yorke of Harbor Springs; his three step-children: Laurie (Edward) Szumila of Alpena; Rebecca Schellie of Toledo, OH; Robert (Shari) Schellie of NC; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. His special friends: Dan (Sue) Storey, Jerry (Marilyn) Burton, Tom (Ila) Macks, and his cat Stinkey.
Dennis has been taken for cremation by the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.
Family and friends will gather at Holy Cross Cemetery for a Committal Service on Friday, September 30, 2016, beginning at 1:00 pm with Rev. Fr. James Fitzpatrick officiating, followed by Full Military Honors accorded by V.F.W. Post 2496.
