            Clifford C. Broderson, age 93, of Alpena passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018, at his home.

            On July 13, 1925, Clifford was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Kermith and Meta (Rutskowske) Broderson. Clifford served in the United States Air Force during WW II. September 2, 1950, he married Nancy L. Moore, she preceded him in death on October 12, 2011. He was a math teacher for Alpena High School and retired in 1982. Clifford was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church.

            Clifford is survived by his three children: Judy Huyck of Granville, MI; Terry (Cheri) Broderson of Lilburn, GA; Aric (Freda) Broderson of Appomattox, VA; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one sister: Carol Plarr of Livonia, MI; along with several nieces and nephews.

            He was preceded in death by one daughter Vicki Broderson and three sisters Elaine Drane, Lois Moore, and Doris Klann; one brother Alfred Broderson and a son-in-law Ronald Huyck.

            Per his wishes Clifford has been taken from the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for cremation. A private family service will be held at a later date.

            In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mid-Michigan Cancer Center of Alpena.
