Amanda Lynn Copping

Amanda "Mandi" Copping, 50, of Alpena, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. She was born in Alpena on April 19, 1975, to Lloyd and Linda (Hamill) Woytaszek. SHe was a member and student of Immanuel Lutheran Church and graduated with the Alpena High School Class of 1993. She was known for being a phenomenal athlete growing up and for her unconditional love as the best "Omi" to her grandchildren.

Amanda was one of the hardest workers, loved the outdoors-especially fishing, line dancing, and her love of Hank Williams Jr.'s music. She was a wonderful homemaker and one of the hardest working people you would ever meet, with the largest heart for anyone she encountered. She left a huge impact on all who she crossed paths with.

She is survived by her mother, Linda Woytaszek, her children, Kelli (Chad) Francisco, Bruz "Bruzzy" Copping, three siblings, Brian (Dione) Oliver, Chris (Kathy) Oliver, and Brenda Woytaszek, her grandchildren, Colton, Chase, and Molli Francisco, and her beloved dog, Bessie, all of Alpena. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Bree, Demi, Beau, Brady, Siarah (Kate) Oliver, Casey and Dylan Woytaszek, and Daemien Vaughn, and a great niece Rayna Vaughn. Amanda was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd "Butch" Woytaszek, a brother, Lloyd "Scudder" Woytaszek, and many other loved ones.

Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation, which will take place on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at immanuel Lutheran Church with a memorial service starting at 11:00 AM with Rev. James Erickson officiating. The family invites all to a luncheon after the service before the burial at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery. Arrangements have been handled by A.E. Ross Funeral Home.
